The National Piers Society

2023 is the Year of The Pier. Nicky has worked with the National Piers Society to create 12 new artworks to celebrate this important part of our coastal heritage.

The following piers feature in the campaign: Bangor Garth Pier; St. Annes Pier; Llandudno Pier; Cromer Pier; Worthing Pier; Clevedon Pier; Southend Pier; Brighton Palace Pier; Eastbourne Pier; Weston-Super-Mare Pier; Saltburn Pier and Blackpool North Pier.

Nicky said:

2022 was a busy year and my main project was creating this collection of 12 artworks that celebrate our wonderful coastal piers. The National Piers Society people were enthusiastic, passionate and a joy to work with. The artworks I hope capture the magic of the British seaside.

The artworks will be on display at the National Piers Society AGM in the summer with a view to them touring afterwards. A 2023 calendar and postcard set have been produced (www.piers.org.uk) and signed fine art prints are available here in the online shop.
