Nicky is an artist, designer and lecturer based in the North West of England. Since 1994 he has owned and managed Chester boutique studio Lemondrop Creative. In 2017 his illustrations for Marvellous Days Out achieved international recognition.

We have a chalet at the prestigious Chester Christmas Market (recently voted one of the UK’s top Christmas Markets.

Working in partnership with Marketing Cheshire, the Nicky Thompson Art (Made in Chester) stand is selling poster versions of both the recent Chester Christmas and Marvellous Days Out campaigns.

There is also beautiful merchandise, including: tote bags, coasters, calendars, post card sets, bone china MCL Chester mugs, ceramic ‘Made in Chester’ mugs and framed A6 prints.

Nicky will be attending the market for signing sessions on Saturday 1st December (10am - 2pm) and Wednesday 5th December (2pm - 6pm).
